MY FACEBOOK ENTRY THIS MORNING (11-15-09): good morning all, after a busy Saturday working on the yard, I sit down with coffee and the Sunday paper and read of the passing of Dick Mysliwiec, wow, a sad day, especially for me, Dick was the 3rd brother (included Chet and Chuck) and the last of the trio that promoted the Berlin Raceway in Marne Michigan (My personal home track) for 50 years, they gave me the chance of being their track photographer for so many years (I cannot thank them enough), this is truly a sad day, I have attached the link to the obituary here http://obits.mlive.com/obituaries/grandrapids/obituary.aspx?n=richard-mysliwiec-dick&pid=135961824 _______________________________________________________________________ I cannot express enough my thanks for the warm and inviting welcome I received from so many people this year, especially at the Berlin Raceway, It felt great to be back ...... thanks for everyone's co-operation also this year..., it was fun and also congratulations to all of the champions................... ______________________________________________________________________ Berlin Raceway had its 2009 awards banquet on Friday, November 6, 2009. The photos are below, under the Berlin 2009 section. I received some positive and exciting news on Friday about me and the 2010 season. Thank you to Mike Blackmer for renaming me as the OFFICIAL 2010 TRACK PHOTOGRAPHER AT BERLIN RACEWAY !!
